10 posts to get to know me (Top Ten Tuesday)

I’m in a book blogging mood at the moment so I’m back already with another WP book blogger inspired post!

Maybe it is because I’m stuck reading two books right now that I’m not vibing with! (Deadhouse Gates is a draaaag but I am determined to finish, and The City We Became is close to being a rare audiobook DNF at 60%).

Anyway, Top Ten Tuesday is currently hosted by artsyreadergirl and has weekly topics for bloggers to respond to and share. Click the link for more info and to read more submitted posts!

I’ve read quite a few Top Ten Tuesday (TTT) posts over the last year but never got my act together enough to participate, and actually this one seems like a really great place to jump in! You’re meant to post on a Tuesday but I’m going to join late (on a Thursday!) for this first one because I’m excited about.

Posts I’ve Written That Give You the Best Glimpse of Me

On this blog I post about all kinds of things from my life, it’s not focused solely on book content. In fact so far my book posts have been almost entirely book reviews, but after having a go at a book tag this week I’m feeling like I’m ready to get more creative! So actually this prompt is pretty easy to answer.

1. This post was my blogger epiphany when I finally figured out that I can do whatever I want. I’m still proud of this one, it seemed to resonate with others! Do I even want anybody to read this?

2. I wrote this post about how I became a crazy cat lady: The Cat Tower.

3. I wrote here about how I was feeling after turning 36: 36. A late bloomer.

4. I’ve written a fair bit about my social anxiety struggles as I’m trying to push myself more. Here is an example of my recent social anxiety wins.

6. I shared quite a personal post last year when I was feeling socially isolated (not long before I found a new job!): I need to find a solution for my lack of social connections.

7. Why I blog is also a topic I return to often, here is a short and sweet list of reasons: Why blog?

8. I shared recently about the “Man Calendars” I used to make for myself! I had fun this with. My “Man Calendars”, 2018-2020

9. I loved Carol & the End of the World on Netflix and it got me thinking about loneliness, shame and what I might want to do if the world was ending: Carol & the End of the World.

10. I also blog sporadically about my embroidery projects, this post serves as an introduction to my hobby and also links out to my first 10 projects: Making Stuff: An Introduction to My Embroidery
