I’ve feel crappy this week. Maybe it’s the crap weather, maybe it is because my post-menstruation hormones are taking time to bounce back…plus I’ve had so many frustrating problems to solve again work.. In any case it’s time for a list of good things!
1. I went for a nice walk with a friend yesterday. Because of the drizzle the park was empty, it’s very rarely so quiet and it was a rare treat to see the deer so close to the paths!

2. I’m really enjoying The Acolyte on DisneyPlus! This is exciting because I’ve found most Star Wars TV series disappointing, in fact I have only enjoyed Obi-Wan Kenobi. I like that it explores the Jedi at their height, before the fall and the event of the movies, and I love a good mystery.
3. There are a couple of pigeons who seem to have moved into our garden. I don’t know what’s going on, but they’re there every time I look out. Who are they?!

4. We’re going to get our bathroom redone which is exciting! Though a bit overwhelming, we need to settle on what we want and compromise between our differing tastes! We’ll probably go out and look at some tiles this weekend.
5. We played Calico for Date Night and I really enjoyed it! Always good to have a new boardgame I enjoy!
6. I’m excited about my new embroidery project! I like to keep my WIP on the mantle piece so I can look at it and see my progress over the weeks. At the moment it’s just cat eyes staring over at me!
7. We went out for a delicious dinner last weekend for our 4 year anniversary! ππππWe never go out for dinner at home, so this was a rare treat! I’m still thinking about the seafood fettuccini and the ice cream cheese cake!

8. I’m loving my audiobook at the moment, I can hardly stop listening to it! I’m readingΒ A User’s Guide to Make Believe by Jane Alexander, I had never heard of and just randomly picked from the library app.
9. I’m also (surprisingly!) starting to enjoy Gardens of the Moon (Malazan Book #1) and it’s fun to be able to talk about/ask my partner WTF is going on! I’ve realised the trick is to picture everything like it’s a cartoon/comic book and stop trying to make it make sense π I don’t usually read this kind of fantasy so it’s taken a mental adjustment.
10. Cuddles, leg rubs and back scratches from my partner when I’m feeling rubbish! π
