We had a great time in Carcassonne but man it feels good to be home!
😻 I missed the cats. Though it was nice not to be covered in fur for a few days!
Update: the cat woke us up meowing every 10 mins until 1:30am when my partner gave in and took her to the spare room! I am no longer sure how much I missed the little bastard! (Cats lol)
🫖 I missed proper cups of tea with milk.
🛌🏻 I missed our bed.
🤫 I missed quiet time. My partner’s parents are great, but they are not people who can sit quietly for long!
🥗 I missed eating balanced food at normal times. Sweet crepes for lunch doesn’t suit me!
📺 I missed X-Men ’97 because we’re just getting into the really good stuff before we went away!
🚿 I missed a shower with decent water pressure!
🙆🏻♀️ I missed using a hairdryer that is not attached to the wall in the most awkward spot.
🪻 I missed my garden! So many new blooms are out!
But it was an awesome little holiday, and I’ll be sharing some bits from it over the next few days!
