The No-Show by Beth O’Leary
Not the story the cover would have you believe, with a twist predictable from the start. - 🤷🏻🤷🏻 2/5 Shrugs
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
An understandable Classic but just not in a flavour that I enjoy! - 👻👻👻 3.5/5 Dead Wives
We Spread by Iain Reid
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars - A challenging bit of weird fiction with strong themes. Deliciously, wide open for your own interpretation!
I Thought It Was Just Me (But It Isn’t) by Brené Brown
An interesting topic but felt a bit too American, and focused on research findings rather than actionable advice. Her later books are probably a better starting point. - ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 Stars
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
Apparently, I had no idea what this book was actually about! A brutal, melodramatic and surprisingly petty revenge plot - 👊👊👊 3/5 Blows To The Head

Nemesis Games (The Expanse #5) by James S.A. Corey
Book #5 had me staying up far too late! This one is a game changer in the series. - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars
Nothing But The Truth: Stories of Crime, Guilt and Loss of Innocence by The Secret Barrister
I want to preface that this is is not a bad book at all, it just wasn't for me - ❌ DNF
Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
Far fetched yet entirely predictable plot, with unengaging characters. This isn't one of Lisa Jewell's best - ⭐⭐ 2/5 Stars
