⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Stars – I can’t get enough!
After Alias I need more Jessica Jones, and The Pulse is the next step in her life. Now pregnant she accepts an offer from J. Jonah Jameson for a steady gig (with health insurance) at The Daily Bugle working alongside Ben Ulrich on a new weekly superhero focused section called The Pulse.
I really enjoyed this! I read it in a night, stayed up too late and everything. It’s a mix of journalism, some Secret Wars shit with Nick Fury, and Jessica and Luke are getting ready to have the baby (which she does by the issue 11). It was also nice to see Spider-man!
I really loved seeing Jessica grow and accept love and support. There are some very cute Jessica and Luke moments, and a nice scene with Sue Storm and Carol Danvers discussing her fears for her unborn super powered child
This is regular Marvel so no more printed “fucks” – but Jessica is still Jessica just with scrambled expletives!
I just wish this series had been longer!
Anyway, on to New Avengers next! Which I think is where I originally started 9 years ago and first discovered Jessica.
