📚 Rounding up my first 10 Mini Book Reviews (and 5 Full Reviews!) for fiction in 2023! I had quite a bad run of disappointments, but also a couple of nice surprises.
The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty
Sharpe observations on everyday interactions, tightly woven plot but the central mystery is a little anti-climatic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
Strange the Dreamer (Books 1 & 2) by Laini Taylor
A beautifully written two part fantasy series set in an original world with complex conflicts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
Reasons Why I Should Get Up & Do Some Exercise
Science based reasons for why I need to restart my exercise routines! 🏋️
Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty
A well plotted mystery packed with sharp observations on family dynamics and life's many little disappointments. ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5
