There are a few options.
WordPress
You can subscribe with a WordPress account using the Reader, or via email. Just stick your email in this box.
You can pick ‘n’ mix which categories you are interested in, and how often you want to get updates. So you can kind of build your own Newsletter! Pretty cool!
These are the categories I currently have set available for subscription:
- Life : this is anything I post in my Life blog category which is mainly personal stuff. Generally just life updates and whatever is on my mind.
- Books : book reviews primarily, but anything else reading related.
- Making Stuff : the things I make, usually embroidery but I’ll give any craft a go! I haven’t use this category much yet but I should be more active on it this year.
- TV/Movies/Games : I don’t post in this category a lot, but I think the title is self-explanatory!
- Newsletter : this will be my round up at regular intervals, likely every 1-2 weeks depending on how busy I am! I’ll use this to include links to everything posted recently in all categories, and just general updates on my life/what’s on my mind.
Just stick you email in this box and you can pick which ones you’re interested in. You can also change any of the settings any time by using the links in your confirmation email.
Old School with RSS
Yes they still are a thing, and you can follow with the RSS feed in your RSS Reader of choice! There are lots of them out there, so that’s up to you. Personally I use Iona Reader, or the WordPress Reader also can follow non-WP blogs.
Depending what you use you may be able to just paste in my website URL: https://thewallflowerdigest.co.uk/
Or the full RSS Feed URL: https://thewallflowerdigest.co.uk/feed/
The RSS feel URL, if you go to it in a browser, will just be a XML code, which an RSS Reader will be able to parse out into a more readable format.
Blog Category Feeds
You can follow just specific categories in my blog posts with RSS feedsm if you aren’t interested in everything.
- For just my Book Blog https://thewallflowerdigest.co.uk/category/books/
- For just my Embroidery/Crafts Blog it would be https://thewallflowerdigest.co.uk/category/making-stuff/
- God knows why you would, but if you just wanted my random Personal Blog Posts then it would be https://thewallflowerdigest.co.uk/category/life/blog/
You get the idea.
Social Media
I primarily use Mastodon these days and I generally do posts links to my blog posts:

I have found that Mastodon has a very welcoming community, its the best social media site I’ve been on in years. I do recommend giving it a try!
I also have an Instagram account for my Book reviews, though as of writing this I’m not sure what I want to do with it as honestly, it feels like hard work! Currently, I only post my Mini Reviews to it.
I have another Instagram account for my embroidery: @stitchesbyalice.
Goodreads
I also have had a Goodreads account for a scary number of years! Feel free to follow me on there too!
